Terms

The rules for frames.llc, Mainframe and FRAMES products. Last updated October 25, 2026.

The basics

These terms are an agreement between you and FRAMES (“we”, “us”) for using frames.llc, your FRAMES account, the Mainframe apps, the Bobber and Dinger games, and the plugins and presets we sell. By creating an account, downloading or buying anything, or using the site, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

You need to be at least 13 to make an account. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.

Your account

Keep your password private; you’re responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person. Usernames and Instagram handles that impersonate someone, or are offensive, may be changed or removed.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, cheat in the games, or abuse the site, and we’ll tell you why when we can.

Mainframe

Mainframe for Mac and Mainframe for iPhone are free. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use them, including for paid client work. Please don’t resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the apps, or remove our notices.

Mainframe for Mac downloads from frames.llc with a free account and updates itself. Mainframe for iPhone is also covered by Apple’s standard App Store terms. Features may change between versions.

Purchases

Plugins, presets and other paid products are sold through Payhip, which handles payment, taxes and delivery under its own terms. Prices are shown before you pay.

License. Each purchase gives you a personal license to use the product in unlimited personal and commercial projects (including client work and monetized videos). You may not share, resell, sublicense or redistribute the product files themselves, alone or bundled into your own presets, templates or packs.

Refunds. Products are instant digital downloads, so sales are final. If something doesn’t work as described and we can’t fix it, email us within 30 days of buying and we’ll refund you.

Games, coins and rewards

Coins, XP, ELO, items and levels in Bobber and Dinger are for fun. They have no cash value, can’t be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and we may adjust or reset them, for example to fix bugs or undo cheating.

Rewards such as discount codes and asset packs are offered while they last, can change, and can only be used as described. Using bots, scripts, exploits or multiple accounts to earn progress or rewards isn’t allowed and can lead to progress being reset or the account being closed.

Things you share

When you submit work through Contribute, add an Instagram handle, or post anything else to the site, you confirm you have the right to share it. You keep ownership; you let us review it and, if we feature it, show it on frames.llc and FRAMES social accounts with credit to you. Ask us any time to take it down.

Fair use of the site

Don’t try to break, overload or get around the site’s security, scrape it, access other people’s accounts, or use it for anything illegal or harmful.

Our stuff

FRAMES, Mainframe, CRT-80, Flash Flicker, SampleDock, Bobber, Dinger, and the site’s design, code and content belong to FRAMES. Other names, like DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Ableton Live, belong to their owners; FRAMES isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

No guarantees

We work hard to make everything reliable, but the site, apps, games and products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Keep backups of your work. To the extent the law allows, FRAMES isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (like lost data, projects or profits), and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and big changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continuing to use FRAMES after a change means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA. Questions? Email contact@frames.llc.
