SampleDock
A sample browser that sits right beside Ableton Live: folders, crates, saved searches, a waveform preview and drag-and-drop into your set. It also pulls in everything Live and Splice already know about.
Everything Live already knows.
SampleDock reads what's already on your Mac. Nothing is written to Live's or Splice's files.
Live's Places
The folders you added to Live's browser, plus your User Library.
Plug-ins
Every plug-in Live has scanned, ready to load on the selected track.
Presets
Racks, presets and clips (.adg, .adv, .alc) from those folders.
Projects
Your Live Sets from Music, Desktop, Documents and Downloads. Double-click to open.
Splice
Samples you already downloaded, with key, BPM, loop or one-shot, tags and pack. New downloads appear on their own.
Search like a producer.
Plain words work, and so do filters. Stack them to find the exact loop you hear in your head, then save the search for next time.

Shape it before you drop it.
The preview panel has four tabs: pitch, tone, space and edit. Pick stretch, repitch or tape mode, then hit apply to render a 24-bit WAV and drop it on the selected track at the playhead.
- pitch
- filter · drive · gain
- reverb · delay
- start · end · fades · reverse
- normalize
Lives next to Live.
With the optional Live connector, SampleDock follows your set: it opens when Live opens, follows the tempo for synced previews, loads plug-ins on the selected track and drops renders right where you need them.
- Live connector
- tempo sync
- pin above Live
- hide when Live is in back
Pitch Tape, included.
A small Audio Unit that repitches like tape while keeping the tempo. Its window is one big circle: drag it up or down to set the pitch. Colors fade white → blue → red as you move away from 0, with particles and shake building up. Go on, drag it.
- Whole semitones
- Shift for fine steps
- Double-click to reset
- Window 20–150 ms
- Mix
Fast hands. No friction.
Drag anywhere
Onto a track, into Simpler or Sampler, or onto a Drum Rack pad.
Crates
Make a crate, then drag rows onto it to build kits as you go.
Auto-play
↑/↓ browse with auto-play, space to play or stop, Return to load.
Make it yours
Light or dark, accent color, row size, waveform style and backdrop.
Collapsible sidebar
Shrink it to icons so SampleDock fits in a narrow window beside Live.
